Concert atop Big Red featuring Paul Kelly, Jimmy Barnes, Christine Anu and more. 

September 2 and 3: Birdsville Races

August 31: Australia’s biggest outback party begins early for some. The town is already bustling on the Wednesday of race week.

September 1: The ‘Equine Fun Day’ is held in front of the Birdsville Hotel with an array of activities on offer. Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe hold their first shows.

September 2: The Carlton Mid race day is held at the race track and night time entertainment provided in the town, including Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe.

September 3: The Birdsville Cup is run, ‘fashion on the fields’ events held and night-time entertainment provided in the town. This is the last night of Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe.
